Painting
Judy started painting in the 1980’s and has taken as many art
lessons as she could fit into her busy schedule as a hairdresser. She
said she started watching Bob Ross on television and from that point on she
started taking lessons in Pensacola,
Florida. She has taken from
Priscilla Houser and One Stroke Painting. Most recently she attended
painting classes from Pat Reynolds, licensed in Evergreen, Alabama, who teaches Bill Alexander classes.
Judy thoroughly enjoys the “magic of art and the creativity of the
brush” because it is very relaxing. She said that it makes all of her
problems go out the window.
In the past, Judy says she has crotched Afghans, done tole
painting and folk art.
