Erin E. Baldree

Marengo County

Illustrator/Mixed Media

“I’ve been drawing since I was a small child.” Special encouragement was given by her older brother, an artist, as well as her sister-in-law and her grandmother. Erin graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Erin says her ideas are derived “from things that I see in life.” Her creative process usually takes place in her home during her daughter’s nap time. She hopes that when her daughter is older she will follow the family’s artistic tradition.

Living in the Black Belt “has given me opportunities to focus on my art like never before” says Erin. She enjoys creating work that other artists and friends compliment her on, and also enjoys teaching group classes and private lessons.

Erin’s work is also available on EBay under the user name of erinp2085.
