Yard Art
“Our
precious Mom had an incredible love of life and God’s creation! She had an eye
for beauty and a desire to share this beauty with all around her.” This,
according to the Phillippi sisters, was their inspiration that prompted their
creative journey on the “first real attempt with art”.
“The
laughter and joy that we as sisters share while working together is special,
and priceless!” What began in July of 2012 as a thought at the beach became the
first “Janey May” pieces of yard art in February 2013.
Their fun,
funky, metal yard art begins with recycled tin cans. After completing three
steps in the process, cutting, painting and creative display, their pieces are
ready for display on sticks or as hanging art objects.
