Rebecca Brooks is an American artist living and working in Frisco City, Alabama. After earning a BFA in Art Education from the University of Illinois, she taught K- 12 art for 20 plus years before seriously delving into her own creations. Today, she works in oils, and also loves to draw. "I'm inspired by the beauty of our natural world, animals, the play of light on a subject, beautiful, rich color, and visual storytelling.” In addition to creating and selling her own art and doing commission work, Rebecca shares her love of art with her students at Sparta Academy, Monroe County 4H classes, 4H classes in Evergreen and Butler, private tutoring, and summer Art camps.
