A meeting with Elizabeth "Liz" Reid reveals the creative spirit of an artist who loves life, family, laughter, and hard work with a passion. Liz's ability to portray a variety of colors and textures onto canvas or porcelain, her use of light brilliant colors and movement, places her work alongside other painters n the American Impressionist category.

Painting and creating works of art began at an earl age and continued throughout her high school years where
Elizabeth enjoyed sculpture, painting, and drawing. After studying at the Ringling School of Art, she furthered her studies with many noted artist and mentors.

Many private homes and galleries along the
Gulf Coast display Liz's commissioned work, portrait, murals and porcelain pieces. Somehow, this hardworking artist has found the time to balanced commissioned work, family, and time to teach classes in stained glass, porcelain, water color and oils. Elizabeth said " Life is a journey... I look forward to everyday to see where it takes me."

Besides Black Belt Treasures and several galleries in the South, Elizabeth Reid's work can be viewed on her website
