Dr. Bill, as he is known to residents in Camden and the surrounding area, said that his “grandfather was a carpenter and created items for family members”. Bill’s original wood piece was created as a wedding gift for a family member, but was “downsized” for his daughter.

Bill’s materials include weathered wood from old fences, houses and barns. He has been building pieces for about ten years before adding his wood products to The Black Belt Treasures Gallery. His most recent pieces were constructed in a neighbors “well equipped wood shop”. It is so nice to have good neighbors!
