Angela, who studied art history at the University of Alabama, said she “had hopes of working at an art museum one day.” While attending a variety of artist workshops she admitted she “fell in love with the creative process” of an artist. She started painting with watercolors, moved to oils which then were followed by acrylic paints and mixed media.
Angela said she was “obsessed” with painting still life’s, but “now prefers the looser joy of abstracts.” Her recent focus uses metallic leaf and paints along with textures. Springtime brought an “obsession” with painting florals. She said she “loves working with interior designers to create pieces that bring a room together.”
