Geoffrey S. Wood is an artist from Butler County who works with a variety of mediums, including graphite pencil, watercolors, acrylic paints, and pen and ink. He often enjoys drawing and painting on wood, creating pieces featuring wildlife such as fish and birds. Geoffrey has been creating art for over 25 years.

Geoffrey discovered his love for drawing in 5th grade but truly became serious about art in high school thanks to a great art teacher who inspired him. The most rewarding aspect of creating for him is seeing a drawing or painting come to life and tell a story.

Living in the Black Belt has had a significant impact on Geoffrey's artwork, as he finds inspiration in the outdoors and wildlife that surrounds him in the country. His work is available at venues other than Black Belt Treasures, allowing more people to appreciate and enjoy his art.
