Casey Roberts, a Perry County artist, created a beautiful 42x16 tapestry, plus a piece of draping fabric that extends 6.5" off the bottom making it 42x22.5 in total, titled "A New Flag for the State of AL" This tapestry is a a dark sage/olive green with a long draping piece of grey fabric sewn on with white stitching. Painted on the grey fabric reads "Here We Rest" above a person in the water that has been painted on the fabric. At the top, there are two black lace loops for hanging. On the backside, there is a label that reads "A new flag for the State of Alabama CR 2024 Made in Perry Co. AL"
