Tammy White spent many hours by her mother’s side watching the
older woman draw on meal sacks. Tammy instinctively knew at an early age that
she was meant to be an artist. With a fine arts degree in illustration and
graphics, Tammy has worked in many different art fields. She is a
versatile individual who has experienced variety in both her career life and
her art work. And she takes great joy in learning. Internal by nature,
Tammy uses her art to provide an outlet for her emotions.
Tammy’s training as an illustrator comes out in her paintings. The
titles of her paintings provide the opening lines of a story that the viewer
can create and complete. Tammy paints from flashes of memories and
intends for her images to influence the viewer as well as herself the artist.
Her paintings convey the multitude of feelings and experiences that affect all
types of individuals.
