Scott says
that making something “new” out of scraps that come from junk yards is what
makes his craft enjoyable. Time spent on an item is usually one hour –
depending on the size of course – and whenever he is not working his day job.
When asked
the usual questions from BBTCAC staff in order to write his biography, Scott
got his start from his mother, Maxine Hopkins, one of our favorite pine needle
basket artists!
