McDowell took inspiration from a barn that was falling apart, and made an oil painting that was 'built to last' long past the barns life. This barn is a beautiful red and brown, with a bright blue sky, green and yellow grass, and a dirt path leading to the barn. Built to Last is framed in a rustic custom frame with wire for hanging.
